Focus On Harmony EyeCare

A Message From The Doctor

Welcome to our first quarterly newsletter! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for choosing Harmony EyeCare to take care of your eyes. We know that you have many options when it comes to choosing your eye doctor. We appreciate the confidence you have instilled in us and we strive every day to exceed your expectations. The health and wellness of your eyes is our number one priority.

The launch of this newsletter is threefold. First, I'd like to keep you informed about future events and announcements concerning our practice. Second, I want to be able to keep you up to date about what is new and exciting in the eye care and optical industry. And last, I'm passionate about eyes and want to share my knowledge with you. I believe that the more you know about your eyes, the better we can work together to provide you with the best care.

Again, thank you for contributing to the growth of our practice. The best compliment we can receive is a referral from our current patients. As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Dr. Verbeck

HD prescription glasses

What's New

We all know what it's like to watch our favorite movies and television shows in HD. Now imagine having that crisp, clear image through your glasses. New technology is allowing us to digitally surface prescription lenses for your glasses. The benefits of this new technology include crisp, clear vision anywhere you look through your lenses, not just through the center, sharper focus, and wider field of view. The best visual performance is achieved when this technology is paired with the newest anti-glare products. The next time you purchase new glasses, ask about this exciting new technology!

20-20-20 Rule

Did you know?

Our eyes were not meant to be staring at a computer for 8 or more hours a day. However, most of our day seems to be spent doing just that. Whether in school, on the job, or just using the computer at home, your eyes can become fatigued. Make sure you have a current eye exam to determine if you need a prescription. Follow the "20-20-20" Rule. Every 20 minutes take a 20 second break and look 20 feet into the distance. Also, consider using artificial tears to alleviate any dryness. Using these simple tips, you can enjoy your time on the computer free of fatigue and eyestrain. Call us for an appointment if it's been over a year to see if your prescription needs have changed.
